Logic Foundry
Connect an AI assistant to Logic Fabric so it can read, create, update and try out your projects' logic in plain language.
Applies toDataverse
Logic Foundry (long form: Logic Fabric Foundry) is an MCP server that connects the AI assistant you already use, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or Visual Studio Code, to Logic Fabric. Once connected, you can ask the assistant to find a logic block, explain a flow, check which artifacts depend on a configuration value, or build a new validation for your opportunities. The assistant does the work by calling Logic Foundry’s tools, one step at a time.
What the assistant can do
Section titled “What the assistant can do”| Capability | Examples |
|---|---|
| Read | List projects; search and read logic blocks, logic flows, recipes, business processes, events, schedules, configurations, service connections and localized resources; read Dataverse tables, columns, choices and relationships |
| Create | Create projects and every artifact type above, including all five logic block types |
| Update | Update artifact definitions and values; update, publish and activate business process versions |
| Inspect | Show what a block, flow or recipe uses and what uses it, before you change it |
| Run | Run a logic block with sample inputs, or run a logic flow (flows make real changes in Dataverse) |
| Review security | Look up security roles, their privileges, and which users and teams hold them (read only) |
| Publish | Publish Dataverse customizations after a set of changes |

Logic Foundry or Logic Conductor?
Section titled “Logic Foundry or Logic Conductor?”Both are MCP servers, and they are designed to be used together.
| Logic Foundry | Logic Conductor | |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Build and change your Logic Fabric configuration with AI | Let AI run the logic you have published as tools |
| When | Design time | Run time |
| Tools | A fixed catalog of read, create, update and run tools | One tool per block, flow or business process you expose |
| Who uses it | Designers and consultants | Business users and AI agents working with your data |
Safety built in
Section titled “Safety built in”- Runs as you. Every tool call uses the signed-in user’s Dataverse permissions, so row-level security, business units and team membership all apply.
- Managed solution protection. The assistant can’t create or change artifacts in a project whose solution is managed. Use a development environment with unmanaged solutions for building, and deploy as usual.
- Your products, your tools. Tools for business processes work only when Process Orchestrator is installed in the environment.
