Process Orchestrator
Installation
Install the Process Orchestrator solutions in each environment and give designers the right security role.
Process Orchestrator is delivered as managed solutions that you import into each environment. It builds on Logic Composer: stage flows, conditions, configuration values and localized resources all come from Logic Composer, so the Logic Composer solutions must be installed first. For the overall installation of Logic Fabric, see Installation.
Solutions
Section titled “Solutions”Import the solutions in this order:

Install all five in environments where you design processes. Every environment where processes run needs at least the Base, Logic Composer and Process Orchestrator solutions.
The solution names are the same in both editions. Use the package that matches your edition.

Import the on-premises packages. The Escalation Monitor runs as Dataverse background processing, so make sure the Asynchronous Processing Service is running on your servers.
- Download the managed solution packages for your edition.
- In each environment, import them in the order shown above.
- Assign the security roles (below).
- Open Logic FabricProcessesBusiness Processes and create a test process to confirm the designer opens.
Security roles
Section titled “Security roles”| Role | Who needs it | What it allows |

Users who only take part in processes, by completing tasks and viewing instances, do not need either role. They need ordinary Dataverse access to the process’s table, the task table and the process instances and stages they work with.
After installation
Section titled “After installation”- The Escalation Monitor record is created and maintained by the system; you do not create it. Review its Minimum Interval (minutes) under ProcessesEscalation Monitors. See Escalations.
- The Run Business Process step appears in Logic Composer only when Process Orchestrator is installed.
